Just a few hours to go for the much-anticipated match-up between the legendary boxer, Floyd Mayweather and the MMA fighter-turned-boxer, John Gotti III. The fight grabbed everybody’s attention because of the “kill or be killed” mentality displayed by Gotti III, while Mayweather remained unfazed by the demeanor of the grandson of the former mob boss. Despite such a comment, Gotti III talked about his respect for Mayweather as a fighter. Anyways, the first fight of the event is over as the fans witnessed a ferocious boxing bout at the very beginning of the contest.

The fight between Kamari Burnside and Brendan Jackson just got concluded. The undercard bout happened at the FLA Live Arena in Florida on June 11th, 2023. Burnside vs. Jackson was an unexpected spectacle as the fans didn’t expect the boxers to go with such brutality against each other. The fight was a four-round affair with each round lasting 2 minutes. But the fight blazed up the fans as such a stoppage at an exhibition event is not something that’s usually foreseen.

Floyd Mayweather’s event goes off with a bang at the very beginning

Although there weren’t many expectations attached to Kamaru Burnside, as he got into boxing a bit later than usual, he proved everybody wrong as he rang the bells through his talent.

Burnside and Jackson were going at each other with a barrage of blows, but in the third round, Burnside got the better of the exchange. He hit Jackson with an immaculate set of combos and dropped him on the canvas. Instantly, a lot of fans made a tweet about this knockout. User Grey wrote, “[Burnside] getting the rare stoppage in an exhibition bout.”

Another user shared the ringside video of the third-round combos hit by Burnside. The fans definitely were bamboozled by such an out-of-the-blue result from an exhibition boxing bout.
