Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather has become notorious for showing off his wealth. The former five-division champion has always been known for his love of money and it is no secret that he fights for the paycheck. In fact, ever since retiring from the sport back in 2017, he has competed in exhibition bouts to earn some extra cash. He has used the fanfare that comes with his name to sell out arenas.
However, in some of his recent exhibitions, the excitement levels are not as high as when he first started competing in these bouts. The most recent example of this was his last exhibition bout against former reality show star Aaron Chalmers. The show was booked at the O2 arena but most of the tickets remained unsold even with ‘Money’ headlining the show. This could either be attributed to the level of opponent he was facing or the downfall of his popularity. However, despite his recent failed exhibition, ‘TBE’ still has a lot of money to spend as he showcased his riches.
