When Floyd Mayweather announced his return against Internet fighter Logan Paul, it filled the combat world with disbelief. However, the undefeated boxer went ahead with the decision and will face ‘The Maverick’ on June 6 in a massive exhibition bout.
Mayweather is a smart entrepreneur. Hence, he has pointed to the big financial numbers that urged him to accept the fight. Just a week ahead of the event, ‘Money’, who spoke about his opponent in a SHOWTIME Series, wasn’t very respectful towards the 26-year-old.
“I believe in working smarter, not harder. So if it’s something easy like [the Paul fight], a legalized bank robbery, I gotta do it. I have to do it,” said Mayweather.
