Astonishingly, the chain also has 8,500 diamonds of 300 carats. The jewelry features the letters ‘TMT’ engraved on it, alluding to Mayweather’s ‘The Money Team.’ The former five-division champion famously sported the chain at the Super Bowl LVIII game in February where he had purchased a box worth more than a million dollars, which is where the images posted by a boxing Instagram account are from.

The boxer retired professionally from the sport in 2107 after his highly lucrative fight against Conor McGregor. The internet reacts to Floyd Mayweather’s white gold chain

The former boxing champ is often trolled for not being able to read. It all started when Mayweather’s friend turned foe 50 Cent claimed that he would donate $750,000 to a charity if Mayweather could read a page from a Harry Potter book. The boxer didn’t respond and this prompted even more trolling. Referencing this incident, someone wrote, “He couldn’t even spell one million.”

Furthermore, one Instagram user, expressing their apathy, just said, “Nobody gives a sh*t”, while another wrote lamenting, “Such a lame glam bag.”

Back in June 2021, Mayweather fought YouTuber turned-wrestler Logan Paul in an exhibition fight. The latter claims that even 2 years after the fight, Mayweather has yet to pay him his share of the money. Taunting him on the money he supposedly owes people, one commenter wrote, “He owe money.”
