Los Angeles is an inspiring city. Even after facing countless trials and tribulations, the city is standing strong. However, the recent wildfires might be the biggest tragedy the city has ever seen and the damage it has done might be irreparable. According to the latest report, the death toll has risen to 10 and more than 130,000 people have lost their homes.

Reports further suggest that this might be the costliest wildfire disaster in American history. During these tough times, the people of LA need as much help as they can get. Floyd Mayweather is trying to do his part by announcing that he would offer assistance to families displaced by the fire through his newly-formed real estate firm VADA Properties.

While the reason for the fire is still undisclosed, sources suggest that the wildfire started from the Pacific Palisades at 10:30 local EST. Three separate blazes from Hurst, Woodley, and Eaton later joined the Pacific fires as things took a turn for the worst. According to ‘The LA Times,’ the Pacific fire has engulfed 19,978 acres while the Eaton fire has scorched nearly 13,690 acres of land. While the authorities have lifted evacuation orders from Kenneth, Sunset, and Hurst, the damage done there was severe as well.

More than 7,500 firefighters and 1,200 fire trucks have been trying to get the fire under control for several hours now. President Joe Biden announced it as a major disaster, ordering federal assistance to bolster response efforts.

According to sources, the people of LA will have to power through another day, as the red flag fire weather will last through Friday. While firefighters might contain the fire, gusts could return on Sunday. It will heighten the fire, health, and environmental risk, and the emergency responders will be on high alert for the coming days.

We hope that the disaster can get under control as soon as possible, so people can start to rebuild their lives. Make sure to check out Floyd Mayweather’s post and share it with as many people as possible.
