After the initial build-up, the event was touted to happen on February 20 at the Tokyo Dome in Japan. However, Mayweather denied appearing on the scheduled date for some unknown reasons and the bout fell off the charts.
No one had an update on the fight until Mayweather opened up from his end regarding his upcoming future and fight plans. The five-division champion was on his way to a party when the media confronted him about the exhibition fight, and Mayweather appeared doubtful regarding its possibility.

Mayweather said, “That’s not really important right now, as you guys know I have done a lot of things in my life and boxing is something I have always been great at doing. So you know when the exhibition presents itself, I do what I have to do.”

Meanwhile, Floyd Mayweather has also vowed to appear in several exhibition contests this year. Following a call out for Logan Paul, he has also set his sights on Jake Paul and rapper 50 Cent. So, we can expect the unbeaten boxer’s entry into the ring again.
Amid several options, we can expect Mayweather to encounter Logan Paul first, but there are still no official developments to the fight.
