As promised, Floyd Mayweather will return to boxing against YouTuber Logan Paul in a special exhibition matchup on February 20th, 2021, at the Tokyo Dome.

The 43-year-old recently confirmed the same on social media, citing another retirement-break for himself. That said, Floyd Mayweather doesn’t need to return, be it for his legacy or net worth.

He has an alluring pro record of 50-0 and is often considered the greatest boxer of all time. His boxing achievements and superstardom have also blessed him with lucrative paychecks that turned him into one of the richest men in the sport.

So how much will he make from the fight against Logan Paul? The official numbers aren’t out yet, but ‘Money May’ has hinted at the amount.

 

Floyd Mayweather and his million tales

After announcing his much-anticipated return, Floyd Mayweather connected with Shannon Sharpe to discuss several things. One being his speculated earning from the exhibition matchups.

Speaking about it, Mayweather said, “You know my number, it varies. It goes up and down whereas for some exhibitions I make $10 million and some go all the way up to $70 million.”

He added, “So that’s not a bad thing, and I have talked about this with Fat Joe. It’s crazy I have talked about it. It’s crazy that like us, you know like you.

“I mean, say if I’m no longer competing in the ring, no longer fighting. But it’s okay for me to still pick up, if I go make a quick appearance overseas, it’s okay for me to make $3,50,000.”

It is no surprise that Mayweather vs Logan Paul will be a huge contest. Despite having no fight values, it is still a blockbuster event that will garner a lot of attention. So, it is safe to state that ‘Money May’ will play in the millions once again.
