The rivalry between star lightweights Gervonta Davis and Ryan Garcia has the potential to land the biggest matchup of this generation. Interestingly, ahead of his much-awaited clash with power-puncher, Rolando Romero, on May 28, ‘Tank’ Davis reflected on the top-notch rival, Ryan Garcia. He accused the star boxer of using ‘Black Curtain’ in his fights.

The southpaw ‘Tank’ took to the podcast ‘Million Dollaz Worth of games’ and stated the purse which he wanted to take to fight a lightweight contender, KingRy.

He said, “80/20 split. Yeah, but think about it, he is not selling like that.”

Furthermore, the 27-year-old claimed that the crowd that appears in the fight of Garcia is pseudo.

He said, “Hell no, you know what they do. They put the black curtain. Just show this part from right here.”

Notably, ‘Tank‘ and Ryan Garcia are in verbal exchange for many years but could not square off in the same ring.

The former WBC interim lightweight champion Ryan Garcia has made a successful defense in excited anticipation this month. The star boxer showcased an elite class boxing and outboxed the Ghanaian pugilist on all grounds. Maybe the 23-year-old prospect is hoping for his next clash against his arch-rival Gervonta Davis.

‘The Flash’ is eager to take a shot against ‘Tank’ and he openly challenged the latter frequently.

In an interview with Inside Boxing Live, Garcia told of Davis, “You’re not a bigger star than me, dude. Do not say that. I’m probably more of a star than you, but you won’t admit it, so I’ll suck my ego up and say 50-50.”

However, ‘KingRy’s words could not get a positive response from the other end. But who knows the way he is garnering back-to-back accolades? He might get a shot later.
