Floyd Mayweather Jr. was undefeated in his boxing career, but he faced one huge loss outside the ring that he couldn’t overcome. The five-division world champion lost his assistant, Marikit Laurico. ‘Kitchie’ was an important part of the Mayweather team and played a pivotal role in the champ’s life. Not only that, she was dearly close to the Mayweather family. Her death has been a painful experience for every single member of the Mayweather family. Mayweather’s partner remembered Laurico as ‘a blessing in my family’s life.’
Mayweather’s kids expressed their remorse for the death of Laurico. The champ did not make any public statements on her death. And the fans were waiting for the champ to speak up. Recently, Mayweather Jr. made a public statement about Kitchie’s death, not with words. He paid tribute to her by doing something he hadn’t done in a long time.

The former five-division world champion shared a close relationship with his assistant. The two had been working together for more than 10 years. Given that she was an integral part of his daily life, it is understandable that her sudden death must not have been something easy to deal with for the 46-year-old.
Mayweather Jr. has changed his Instagram profile picture after a really long time. And, to no surprise, he put up a picture of Laurico, paying tribute to his late special personal assistant.
While there are a lot of rumors about her death, according to some reports, she felt unwell on a trip to Dubai. And some are claiming that she died due to a heart attack. It should be noted that the reason for her death has not been revealed by the Mayweather team. And nothing can be confirmed at the moment.
