The champ recently took to social media with a special request from fans. And this request involved his son Zion Mayweather.

Zion is Mayweather’s son with Josie Harris. He was born on March 28, 2001. And, is a social media star and influencer. Moreover, it is said that he has no interest in boxing despite being the son of arguably the greatest defensive boxers in the world, as per The Source. It is also worth mentioning that his mother died in 2020 after a reported case of accidental overdose.
He recently celebrated his 22nd birthday. His legendary father left no table unturned while wishing his son on his birthday. Mayweather posted a series of stories wishing him. Additionally, he also asked his fans to follow and wish Zion.
Floyd Mayweather opens up about parenting
With his boxing career and his business ventures, Mayweather undoubtedly has his hands packed. But that has never prevented him from being a devoted father. And being one of the wealthiest athletes in the world, he has never shied away from showering his kids with expensive gifts. However, Mayweather believes in shifting his style of parenting as his kids grow older. He even addressed the same in a podcast, saying, “All four of my children are adults. And I told them, listen, no more handouts. No more handouts. I told them, listen, from here on out, you guys go to school. Or you work in one of my businesses, then you can branch off.”

He further added, “Get your own business. And I’ll put the money up to help you start a business. But I need you guys to take what I’ve already started and triple and double it.”
