Undefeated throughout his career, Floyd Mayweather has been at the top of the pugilistic chain system for over two decades. Although the sport of boxing has never seen a deficit of world champion prodigies, a few of them, like Mayweather, could stand out for various reasons. Apart from his brilliant display of action in the ring, Mayweather fetched sheer tactics on how to topple everyone outside the squared circle.
It turned him into the richest boxer of all time and arguably the biggest PPV star ever. That said, ‘Money’ Mayweather is praiseworthy towards the modern-day superstars, whom he sees not getting enough acknowledgment.

In an old interview, Mayweather had handpicked some boxers, whom he believed to be worthy of finding a position in the pound for pound list, and said, “I was talking about Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis. I don’t understand why he is not in the top 10 pound for pound. Terence Crawford, Errol Spence, Benavidez.”
“The list goes on and on. There are so many tough fighters out there. So many great young champions that I am proud of.”
Well, Floyd Mayweather is also a boxing promoter now and holds a top-tier stable full of youngsters. The Three-weight titlist, Gervonta Davis is apparently the biggest name in the loop. So, it makes sense for Mayweather to promote his fighters. However, Mayweather seemingly gave credit where its due as he praised other pugilists too.
