Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather shocked his friend, billionaire investor, Robert Smith after throwing a lavish surprise party for him. The former 5 division champion has always been the one to never shy away from organizing lavish parties.

Smith has been a close associate and business partner of ‘Money’ and is working with him on a new project. Thus, it wasn’t out of the blue when Mayweather asked him to come to see a property for the shooting of this project. However, what Smith did not realize was that he was in for a big surprise.
Floyd Mayweather organizes a James Bond-themed party for his billionaire friend
Smith was shocked to see that ‘TBE‘ had tricked him and this was actually a celebration for his 60th birthday. Moreover, Mayweather even described how his friend felt in an interview with TMZ.
“When Robert walked into his house, he was shocked to see us all there. He was really surprised and had no clue that his family threw him a surprise party,” said Mayweather.

The party was centered around the theme of James Bond, who Smith is an avid fan of. Mayweather also wanted to make sure that the $8 billion dollar man would not be disappointed with the accommodation. Thus, he spent heavily on the decorations and hospitality with everything matching the theme including the cake which was an Aston Martin car, Bond’s vehicle of choice.
Mayweather set to launch new docuseries produced by Smith
‘Money’ is set to launch a docuseries that will take us through the journey of his rise in the sport. The series will be titled ‘G.O.A.T’ and will be produced by Smith along with notable directors Deon Taylor and Roxanne Avent Taylor. Moreover, Mayweather is excited to partner up with these people speaking about their involvement in the series.

“As someone who owns his own brand, I can’t think of better partners than Deon, Roxanne, Robert F. Smith, the wealthiest African American in the world and Hidden Empire Films, a prolific Black-owned production company. This is going to be incredibly special!” he said.
The series will include never before seen footage from Mayweather’s personal library, including hundreds of hours of video and audio records of his fights and training sessions. However, a release date for the production is yet to be revealed.
