However, the renowned radio host knew it was wrong on his part. He barely accepted to be apologetic for creating the ruckus.
The 43-year-old iterated, “I don’t think I need deserve it. Apologize, there’s no need for an apology.”
Later, he accepted he was wrong, but tried to change the course of the discussion by stating, “I apologize to all the people who can’t really read and who may have been offended.”
However, he was intercepted by the host in between and was asked for a serious apology. Then Charlamagne added, “I feel bad but I don’t know if it deserves an apology it’s a different fact.”
Finally, after much talk, the TV personality said, “I apologize champ.”
And in the end, he again advocated his previous stand of not saying sorry but knew that it was wrong.
He added in the end, “I don’t know if it deserves an apology. But I did feel like it was, I did feel a way about it. I called our boss that night I didn’t I did make me feel a little uneasy.”
What did he say about Floyd Mayweather?
In 2014, when ‘Charlamagne Tha God’ was on the radio program, just to amuse people, he crossed the limits and eventually ended with controversy.
To everyone’s surprise, he aired the audio clip of ‘The Best Ever’, in which the retired legend was struggling while reading. It caught the attention of listeners, who started making fun of it.
