And this person happens to be none other than boxing’s very own superstar, Floyd Mayweather.

Qatar’s stadiums will see both Messi and Ronaldo clash for the final time in their careers, on soccer’s biggest stage. Taking finances into account, the five highest-paid players of the World Cup 2022 will earn a total of USD 452 million. Moreover, USD 173 million, from their total earnings, will be made off the pitch.

Messi takes up second place in this list. It is said that he will earn USD 120 million this season. With USD 55 million being made off the field. Meanwhile, Ronaldo stands in the third position with USD 100 million in earnings, and USD 60 million made off the field.
