Floyd Mayweather faced Logan Paul in an exhibition earlier this year. For the YouTuber turned boxer, it was the greatest boxing feat he had ever accomplished. Mayweather, on the other hand, revealed his training regime for the fight and completely destroyed Logan Paul’s credibility as a boxer.

Mayweather spoke about the fight with Paul, letting the people know that there’s a difference between an exhibition match and a professional bout.

He said, “I did an exhibition with the YouTuber Logan Paul. We had fun. People have gotta know, there’s a difference between a real fight and an exhibition. All I did was work out from time to time. If it was a real fight, it would’ve been a blowout in the first round.”

Paul came in much taller and stronger than ‘Money’ Mayweather. With such a height and weight disparity, Paul should have been able to deal some serious damage to Floyd. However, even at 44 years old, and with irregular training, Mayweather showcased why he’s one of the best to ever enter the squared circle.

For eight rounds, Mayweather left Paul swinging for the ropes and clinching. Many fans trolled Paul after the match for clinching more than actually fighting. If this is what going eight rounds against an unfit Floyd Mayweather does to you, one can only imagine the kind of damage Floyd could have inflicted if he was in shape.

“I’m OK. Floyd Mayweather made a lot of smart investments. One of the buildings I own is the tallest commercial building in America. So if you get a chance go to New York and check it out. This is my ninth sky scraper,” Mayweather said in an interview at the WBC convention in Mexico.
