Nate Jones, a close aide to Floyd Mayweather, recently shared some major news about the boxing legend’s plans to release his own video game. During a Q&A session on his YouTube channel, a fan asked why Mayweather had never appeared in any boxing video games. Jones replied that Mayweather had already created his own game and was simply biding his time before releasing it. According to Jones, Mayweather said, “I’m gonna make ’em wait… Trust and believe that Floyd got a boxing game coming out.”

Jones also claimed that Mayweather had told him that he would be featured in the game as well. While Jones did not know how much progress Floyd Mayweather has made so far in the game. Jones was confident that it would be a huge success because Mayweather knows his worth and would only release the game when the time was right.

“He just knows his worth, and he knows what to do with it and the right time to get his best money out of it. He is doing what it takes to make it a big success, and hopefully it works out for him”.

The news of Floyd Mayweather working on a boxing game first came out 5 years ago. In a video posted by TMZ, Floyd revealed at that time that work on the game is still in progress. Mayweather claimed that he had an active involvement in the project. He revealed the reason for him not being in the Fight Night franchise.

He said, “I’m working on my video game as we speak,” Mayweather said. “You know I couldn’t go on [Fight Night] because, remember, before I do anything, I have to have some ownership”.
