While Terence Crawford is currently 35 and reigning the WBO World Welterweight title in boxing, Mayweather, 45 and retired, is on his way to fight yet another exhibition in 2023. If Mayweather and Crawford, two of the bests in professional boxing,had  fought each other in their primes, what would the potential outcome be?

Crawford is 35 and when Mayweather was of his age, he had the WBA and WBC Welterweight titles in boxing. In fact, Mayweather was fighting the likes of Saul Alvarez, Miguel Cotto, and Marcos Maidana in the ring. Unstoppable and impenetrable, Mayweather dominated even in his mid-thirties. Therefore, as soon as the said question hit the net, fans went into a frenzy.

The boxing world predicts possible outcomes of Floyd Mayweather vs. Terence Crawford in boxing

While some acknowledged Mayweather’s defence and unique abilities, a number of fans held Terence Crawford for the big win. According to one user, Crawford will find it difficult early in the rounds. However, he would catch up and KO Mayweather to snatch a win.

However, one said Mayweather would win the bout via robbery.

At this, one user pointed out that nobody could beat Floyd Mayweather since he had the best defence in boxing. In addition, he claimed that Mayweather had a good and tested chin.

Meanwhile, one fan, in a very similar tone, said that none could beat Floyd. Whether it be Crawford or Spence Jr., according to them, Floyd always stood his ground inside the ring.

However, one disagreed and relied upon ‘Bud’s’ abilities. They believed that Crawford could certainly win. “Crawford via knockout..🏆,” they replied by saying.
