Speculation surrounding the much-anticipated heavyweight clash between Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder has reached a fever pitch over the past few weeks. The former heavyweight champions will potentially face each other in December as part of a speculated super event. The event would also pit current champion Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury against each other giving fans two super fights in one night.
Both Joshua and Wilder have had a rocky journey over the past few years. Since Wilder’s third fight with Fury, he has only fought once beating Robert Helenius with a KO last year. Joshua on the other hand last fought against Jermaine Franklin and won by unanimous decision. Now it seems like talks for this fight are progressing as it was recently revealed that ‘AJ’s’ promoter Eddie Hearn is currently in Saudi Arabia for negotiations.
