Jake Paul is one of the biggest names in boxing right now. Whether or not, one likes him, it cannot be denied that the YouTuber-turned-boxer is now garnering the attention of the combat sports world by the minute. In a short space of time, he has fought and defeated many former MMA champions. Though, it has not been a bed of roses for the “Problem child”.

In February of this year, Paul suffered his first-ever defeat against Tommy Fury. The defeat hurts Paul’s stock as it was the first time he fought a professional boxer. Though, it is not over for the 26-year-old as he is willing to make amends and some would argue the amends are drastic.

Fighters come out stronger at times after a defeat. One gets to analyze and scrutinize their weakness and work on the same. Paul, post his defeat, is of the same mindset. He took the loss on the chin and continues to carry on training.

Recently, on YouTube, Paul posted a video of his analysis of the defeat and the aftermath of it. Amongst other things, he discussed how he has made changes in the training set-up. It also includes him “firing” people from his camp.

He stated, “I am making changes within my own life. Making changes within my team. Firing some people and bringing on new people. Making changes within my training camp. Just to learn from this loss and to get better.”

Paul knows what happens inside his camp. If he deems fit to make amends for the better then there must be a reason behind it. Though, whether or not his decision is proven to be wise depends on how he fights in the future.
