Jake Paul has become a familiar name in the world of boxing. Since his journey to professional boxing, Paul has been the eye of many storms. He last fought in February, losing his bout against Tommy Fury in Saudi Arabia. And, recently, he was accused of something unexpected. Ahead of his fights, Paul reportedly invites numerous sparring partners to help him train. One particular sparring partner reportedly did not have a good experience with the YouTuber-turned-boxer and slammed accusations Paul’s way. He left no stone unturned to show his disappointment and bitterness for the 26-year-old.
MMA fighter Markus Perez recently opened up about his experience as a sparring partner of ‘The Problem Child’. And he further accused him of not paying him his promised sparring fee.

In an interview with MMA Fighting, the Brazilian MMA fighter Perez talked about the time Jake Paul hired him as a sparring partner ahead of Paul’s fight against former UFC fighter Ben Askeren. Perez also gave the reason as to why he believes Paul did not pay him.
Perez said, “I beat him up in the gym, sparring him for free because this bum never paid me.” The Brazilian thinks that Paul does not like getting beaten up. So, he did not bother to pay him his promised fee. He added that $300 meant nothing to Paul despite being a millionaire. Perez added, “he’s a millionaire, making $27 million out there, and can’t pay $300 for a guy just because I kicked his butt in sparring?” A video from sparring sessions ahead of the Askren fight made it to the internet.
Perez further explained how his sparring session prevailed with the Ohio-raised internet sensation. He claimed that his sparring session with Paul turned into a fight. And despite Paul releasing numerous videos knocking out sparring partners, his video with the 26-year-old never made it to the internet.
