It has been exactly a year and two months since we witnessed Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis enter the ring against Ryan Garcia at the T-Mobile Arena. Finally, after much waiting the boxer from Baltimore is making his return to the sport against former sparring partner, Frank Martin! To add to the excitement, the WBC Interim Super-Middleweight champion David Benavidez makes his greatly anticipated Light-Heavyweight title debut on the undercard of Martin vs. Davis.

Gervonta Davis vs. Frank Martin: Date, time, and venue

Both Gervonta Davis and Frank Martin are undefeated in the sport. However, while Davis is at 29-0-0 with 27 wins via knockouts, Martin is currently at 18-0- with 12 victories coming by way of a knockout. But, since the boxers have trained together, they are well aware of each other’s strengths and weaknesses.

As a result, this Saturday the 15th of June [16th June in the UK], you can certainly expect a competitive fight between Martin and Davis at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. And to watch the event, you will need to tune in at 8 p.m. ET and 5 p.m. PT. The main event ring walk will be at around 11 p.m. ET and 8 p.m. PT. However, fans from the UK and Ireland must tune in at 1 a.m. to catch the event live from the beginning. Meanwhile, if you are in Australia, tune in at 10:00 a.m. AEST to catch the action.

Ahead of the fight, Gervonta Davis told ESPN that he is smarter and more mature as a boxer and would display significant improvement against Martin. After the fight against Demetrius Andrade in November last year, the adventurous David Benavidez decided to move up to the Light-Heavyweight division of the sport and test his formidable skills. Soon, it was revealed that Benavidez was eyeing a potential contest against Dmitry Bivol. But, no matter what resume you have, you just can’t fight Bivol in your debut. So, Benavidez begins by facing Oleksandr Gvozdyk. At this, while one must appreciate Benavidez’s decision to move up, we must also point out that Gvozdyk, 37, is ten years older than David which means the ‘Mexican Monster’ will have the advantage of youth by his side.

But, that’s not even all! There are two other exciting matchups the PBC-Amazon Prime Video PPV event brings to you. Besides the Benavidez-Gvozdyk fight, Gary Antuanne Russell will also be taking on Alberto Puello for a shot at the WBC super lightweight title against the champion Devin Haney down the line. On the other hand, Carlos Adames, the current WBC interim middleweight champion, hopes to become the WBC middleweight champion after winning against Terrell Gausha.
