Fans Warn David Benavidez After Reportedly Making “Close to $50 Million” Offer to Canelo Alvarez

Michael Benson shared that a $50 million guaranteed purse could be Alvarez’s, but his undisputed Super Middleweight belts would be at stake. Benavidez successfully defended his (Interim) WBC Super Middleweight title from Caleb Plant on March 25. On the other hand, ‘Canelo’ Alvarez secured his undisputed title a second time from John Ryder‘s challenge. Thus a match between the two seems logical. However, unforeseen reasons and other holdups keep the big fight hot and cold. Perhaps the new proposal might open new doors to the much-anticipated battle.
