DAZN recently launched its linear channel DAZN 1 HD. Initially, the customers of DAZN could not access the said channel through Sky Boxes. Despite signing up for a monthly package since existing users could not access DAZN 1 HD through their Sky Boxes, they felt disappointed. Especially, when DAZN with this new endeavor looked forward to optimizing exposure for the upcoming Anthony Joshua fight, customers with Sky Boxes were left to fume.
However, DAZN which promised to serve a “24/7 unrivaled schedule of live and catch-up content”, soon realized the number of their existing customers who would want access to DAZN 1 HD on Sky. Thus, listening to their customers, DAZN declared they would provide access to DAZN 1 HD with Sky Boxes. In a tweet, the network declared, “We underestimated how many of our existing customers would want access to our linear channel, DAZN 1 HD on channel 429 on Sky.”
