Floyd Mayweather Jr. was recently inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame. Moreover, the former champ was overcome with emotion while accepting the honor.

Mayweather was inducted as a part of the class of 2021. Notably, the ceremonies in 2020 and 2021 did not materialize due to the pandemic. Additionally, Muhammad Ali’s daughter, Laila Ali, Wladimir Klitschko, and Andre Ward were also inducted during the event.
‘TBE’ fought back tears while accepting the honor. He mentioned that the Hall of Fame induction was the greatest thing he has achieved in his life. Mayweather also dedicated the honor to his father, Floyd Mayweather Sr. He said, “I want to thank the International Boxing Hall of Fame for giving me this. This right here is going to my dad because he deserves it.”
