Mike Tyson and his podcast have been a window to the kaleidoscope of pop culture. Moreover, his podcast has also been a witness to multiple intriguing stories shared throughout the years. In fact, the most recent episode saw an interesting revelation about rapper Tupac Shakur and Death Row Records.

Tyson was hosting his podcast with DJ Whoo Kidd as the co-host. Rapper and record producer, Warren G was a guest on the podcast. In conversation, he mentioned that he did not have a chance to link up with Tupac. He also detailed a particular incident that happened to him at Tupac’s studio.
Warren G said, “I went to the studio. Snoop[Dogg] was there, everybody was there. So you know Suge[Knight] and homies came and like, ‘Warren can I holler at you’, so I’m like. ‘alright I’ll be in there.'”
He further detailed that he was confronted by Knight and a group of his friends when he went to see them in the ‘red’ room. Moreover, they even snatched his chain. However, Warren G was able to safely get himself out of the predicament and drive away from the studio. He also mentioned that the incident left him shaken, while also adding, “These ni**as probably would’ve killed me if they had a chance.”

Warren G also mentioned that Tupac later called him to his studio for a collab. But, he turned down the offer as he did not wish to put himself in a similar situation.
Fans react to the Warren G ‘chain-snatching’ incident
There is no denying that fans were outraged by what Warren G underwent. In fact, fans were quick to respond when a snippet of the podcast was posted on Facebook.
User Mar Mcd stated, “Damn Suge was ruthless back then.”
Meanwhile, user Nelson Charles was quick to remind people that Knight did not mend his ways. He said, “Y’all remember when Suge tried to rob Akon.”
User Alfred Belford II, on the other hand, hilariously stated, “Suge Knight should be a Mortal Kombat character.”
Another user named Harlem Mick backed Warren G up by saying, “Definitely ain’t doing no collaboration after my chain get took either.”
Similarly, user Charles Clover added, “Good to finally hear this story from the mouth …. this been urban legend for decades.”

User Nyucca Pdawg pointed out that Warren G was looking uncomfortable in the podcast. He said, “Look at the video. He looking very uncomfortable and Stuttering.”

However, user Jesus Lopez felt like Warren G should have collaborated with Tupac. He said, “Even be thankful for possibly having a Collab with that legend that you cannot compare.”
Another user, Owen Jones, also felt that Knight was bad company for Tupac. He said, “Just Imagine if warren bailed him out instead of suge, he might still be here today. The music industry could of been so different still today.”
It is worth noting that Knight is the co-founder and former CEO of Death Row Records. He was also considered a major contributor to gangsta rap’s success.
