Boxing has undoubtedly evolved over the years, with many celebrities, musicians, and even famed YouTubers becoming a major part of the sport. The most prominent example of the same is the rise of American YouTuber Jake Paul in the sport. He entered boxing in 2018, then turned professional, and now is aiming to become a champion. However, his recent fight was canceled, and fans are suggesting a new opponent for him.

This is the third time that Paul’s fight was called off to the disappointment of fans. Following the same, he posted a video of himself on Instagram and wrote in the caption, “They’re all scared of a Disney Kid.”

‘The Problem Child‘ was set to fight Hasim Rahman Jr. on August 6th, at the Madison Square Garden in New York City. However, just a few days before the fight, the bout was canceled. Now, fans suggest that Paul should fight former kickboxer Andrew Tate next. Here are some of the reactions from the comments section of his video.

Not to mention, Paul has been trolled by boxing fans for not fighting a “real fighter”. Rahman Jr. was claimed to be the toughest opponent of Paul’s career, and defeating him was a chance to prove his worth to the world. Tate is a formidable opponent as well, but only time will tell if the fight materializes or not. 

Boxing legend offers Jake Paul a potential opponent

Golden Boy Promotions boss Oscar De La Hoya is no stranger to the sport. Previously, he was a globally recognized boxer, and now, he owns a successful promotions company.

When the cancelation of Jake Paul’s much-anticipated fight hit the news, De La Hoya saw an opportunity and took a jab at it; Notably, He offered Paul a fight with a potential UFC champion.

De La Hoya stated in a Tweet, “Sorry for your cancellation due to unprofessional fighters not making weight. Let’s talk @jakepaul Vs @NateDiaz209 when he’s free from the @ufc imagine the @GoldenBoyBoxing machine behind it? Will be huge!!!”
