His new segment is likely to follow a similar concept as Clapback Thursdays in terms of presentation. De La Hoya addresses various controversies and challenges within boxing and provides his critique and opinions on the matters involved. However, De La Hoya’s no-holds-barred commentary without any sort of filter impressed fans.
His segment against Eddie Hearn got quite popular as it even featured Ryan Garcia in his normal unapologetic way. Clapback Thursday became an instant hit in the boxing world as insiders like Paulie Malignaggi have praised the segments in the past.
However, TWATBACK Tuesdays won’t tackle serious problems like Clapback Thursdays and will only go live so that De La Hoya can answer his critics. However, the announcement has left the fans excited and they are desperate to feature on the segment.
