Derek Chisora has now suffered three losses in a row and appears to be fading out of the current heavyweight title ride. After a 12-round war against Joseph Parker, Chisora fell prey to the judges’ scorecard and suffered his second loss against the Kiwi. Parker outboxed ‘WAR’ throughout the bout and earned a comfortable win (115-110, 115-111, 114-112) on all three scorecards.

Joseph Parker was clearly the better man in the ring. Although ‘WAR’ Chisora offered legitimate action from his end, Parker had a response for all of it. In round 12 of the fight, he came close to stopping Chisora. However, the British boxer found his way to the final bell and stood strong in defeat.

Following his latest defeat, ‘WAR’ took to social media and opened up on his sporting future. He also revealed the date of his potential comeback.

“F*** retirement. I’ll be back in the summer bi**h,” wrote Chisora.

Derek Chisora is clearly not in a position to challenge the A-liters of the heavyweight division. He has lost to Oleksandr Usyk and Joseph Parker (X2) in his last three outings. That said, both Usyk and Parker are at the top.

While Oleksandr Usyk is currently the unified heavyweight champion, Parker has retained his WBO Inter-Continental strap against Chisora.
