Back in 2009, most of the fans found it hard to believe. The musical icon they loved to death was no more. Michael Jackson‘s passing left a big vacuum in the lives of millions. Their pain and anguish may never heal. They saw him come alive at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards, five years after his demise. As could be expected, most couldn’t control their emotions when they came across his hologram. DJ Whoo Kid and Mike Tyson flashed back to those memories. The son of the ‘King of Pop’ accompanied them.

Prince Michael Jackson was the guest in the latest Hotboxin episode. Inevitably, the conversations centered around his legendary father. Prince Jackson shared many stories, from growing up in ‘Neverland,’ to Michael Jackson as a father. He also shared that he listened to an eclectic range of genres instead of restricting himself to anyone. Prince Jackson revealed that Michael Jackson had a repertoire of songs he barely knew anything about.

He said, “… he’s got a lot of songs that I never heard of before; he was featured on a lot of other songs with other artists…a lot of um solo albums that I just recently discovered myself… It’s very interesting, you know.” Then, he also shared a few inputs on songs that never saw the light of day. So, according to Prince Jackson, his father was seemingly not fluent in reading music sheets. Hence, his process of song creation was primarily self-taught.

Hence, it often resulted in him jotting down sounds and beats. When he tuned out one particular note synonymous with Michael Jackson, DJ Whoo Kid found an immediate connection. He mentioned how it became so popular, especially among impressionists. So Whoo Kid said, ” …how many of them shows do you go to, like you know in, in Vegas? The one in Vegas is like that. Everybody was crying. Did you cry, Mike? I cried. I don’t care, everybody.” When Prince Jackson mentioned the Hologram event, Whoo Kid said he cried a lot.

Nodding, with emotions apparent, Mike Tyson couldn’t have disagreed with Michael Jackson’s impact on people’s lives. Twenty-six-year-old Prince Michael Jackson was barely twelve when his father passed away.

Born to Michael Jackson and Debbie Rowe, the business administration graduate seems to have found his calling in philanthropy. Outside of the charities that he runs, like many youngsters, motorcycling fascinates him the most. He owns a YouTube channel dedicated to his journeys on the two-wheeler.
