Dillian Whyte is one of the few heavyweight boxers who’s among the finest trash talkers in the game at present. He enjoys mocking his opponents and does everything in order to get on their nerves. That said, recently, the British boxer’s attention shifted to Charles Martin who called him out for a fight.
He took wild verbal digs at the American boxer and rolled out some hilarious comments. In a conversation with Sky Sports, he said, “Actually, I think even the real Prince Charles would knock him out.
“Look, he’s an okay fighter, he’s better than the one that showed up against Joshua, but he’s not a guy where you sit there and think, ‘wow, Charles Martin wants to fight me’. He’s a useless bum really.”

Martin asserted that he’d crush Whyte if he faces him in America. And acknowledging his call-outs, ‘The Body Snatcher’ came up with a fiery response to the same.
In his last fight, Whyte crucified the veteran Alexander Povetkin with a vicious T/KO to get his boxing stint back on track. With this win, he even claimed the WBC interim heavyweight title. This saw him put himself in a prime spot to challenge for Tyson Fury’s belt.
Hence, he will look to bide his time until he steps through the ropes to compete for the WBC gold.
Should Dillian Whyte wait for a worthy opponent?
After much rigmarole and efforts, ‘The Body Snatcher’ won the WBC interim heavyweight strap. He was the interim champion, but in order to stay active, he took a fight, lost it, and had to regain his mandatory spot the hard way.

However, as the WBC belt will be on the line in just over three weeks, Whyte will have to wait for a substantial while for his shot. Hence, it may behoove him to stay active, despite being at risk of suffering a fate similar to the first Povetkin fight. It remains to be seen if he accepts a fight against Charles Martin or any other heavyweight contender.
