“Even Conor[McGregor] Knows That”: Weeks After Branding Dillon Danis “Puppet”, Jake Paul Discloses Why Dillon Danis Won’t Back Out Of October Bout

It’s one of the biggest clashes of the year. Logan Paul and Dillon Danis will step inside the squared circle to settle their long-standing rivalry on the 14th of October. The two are on the undercard for the big fight between KSI and Tommy Fury. However, the Paul-Danis fight is the one that’s making the headlines. Ever since the announcement of their fight came to light, there has not been a single day they’ve stayed out of the limelight.

With less than a month left for their clash, the two have taken some vicious verbal digs at each other. However, leading the crusade of words here is Dillon Danis. From taking some below-the-belt shots at Paul’s fiancee to calling his relationship with brother Jake Paul fake, Danis has left no opportunity to damage his reputation. While Logan and his fiancée have retorted back in their own capacities, the younger Paul brother maintained an alarming silence. Until now.

The rift between ‘Maverick’ and ‘El Jefe’ is not an overnight development. Danis went on record to say that Jake Paul had earlier left no stone unturned to hurt his reputation, so much so that he dragged his girlfriend into it. Based on past animosity, Danis is taking verbal dugs at both the Paul brothers at every opportunity he gets.

As El Jefe went all in to tarnish Maverick’s reputation ahead of their fight, Problem Child did not intervene until now.

Discussing why this matchup holds so much on the line for Danis, Jake said, “I believe the puppet shows up as he can’t afford running away two fights in a row.” Reiterating his trust in his brother brother, he further added, ” Logan is going to make this puppet crumble.” 

Bringing Conor McGregor into the conversation, Paul alluded to the bet Logan has offered McGregor. Stating that he would defeat Danis on the 14th, Maverick challenged ‘The Notorious’ to cough up $ 2 million if his training partner lost the matchup. However, the MMA fighter did not accept the bet. Stating a possible reason for it, Jake said, “Even Conor knows that, that’s why he won’t take the bet.”

Nina Agdal finds support in Jake Paul

In his war against Logan Paul, El Jefe has attacked his fiancé Nina Agdal, to capitalize on his vulnerability. Paul’s fiancée has been subject to some very disturbing remarks at the hands of Jefe. From calling her a transgender person to drawing a public list of men she’s supposedly been with, Danis did it all. But the final straw was when he posted nude videos of her on social media without her consent. Taking offense to these transgressions, Agdal filed a lawsuit against him. She sought a restraint order with $150,000 in damages. Days after she filed the suit,  Jake Paul defended her.

On an episode of his brother’s podcast, Jake said, “When he tweets about anything other than Nina, no one cares, it doesn’t get good engagement.” 

Launching scathing attacks on Danis, he further added, “Yeah, he makes jokes, but it’s largely in part that he’s exploiting Nina and there are so many hurt males out there that can’t get girls and they’re the ones that are like ‘yeah, f*ck girls, f*ck women, I love what Dillon is doing’ and they know they won’t ever get a hot girl.”

In the days leading up to their anticipated clash, it is worth seeing what the fighters have still got to say about their opponents. While Danis navigates his ability to sustain in the ring against the influencer-turned-boxer, he will need to prove his worth given the long narratives of his boxing prowess he’s weaved. Logan Paul, on the other hand, has a lot at stake. He would want to avenge his fiancée and revive his combat career.
