Former unified light-welterweight champion Amir Khan was one of the most exciting boxers to ever compete professionally. While being one of the best boxers he also passed a charisma and charm that garnered him millions of fans across the world. However, his career was cut short after injuries plagued his promising career. Khan would eventually retire from the sport in 2022 after his loss to Kell Brook and has not competed in boxing since then.
Despite this, he has been handed a two-year ban from the UKAD after he tested positive for a banned substance known as ostarine. The substance has been classified as PED and is banned in many sports organizations and competitions, including the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) and the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA). However, Khan has claimed that he did not take the substance intentionally.
‼️ Amir Khan tested positive for the banned substance ostarine in a UKAD test following his defeat to Kell Brook last year and so has now been BANNED from boxing for two years. Khan already retired following the loss and has insisted his ingestion of ostarine was not intentional.

The news has certainly caused a stir among fans, given the recent incident with Conor Benn who also tested positive for a banned substance named clomifene. However, he has now been cleared and will gear up for his comeback. Unfortunately for Khan, this might be something that will potentially tarnish his legacy in the sport. The fans were not too kind to the former champion as they reacted to the news.

Another user, @unruly_wayward, was not happy with the current state of British boxing.
Moreover, user @AOUREDOO insisted that only the WBC could help Khan as they did with Benn, reinstating him in the rankings.
Only the WBC can save him at this point like they did with Conor "Egg" Benn 😂😂

User @bcfc4life90 thought that the ban wouldn’t do much harm as Khan was already beaten by Brook.
He got beat bad so cheating don’t really help that much then 🙈😂

However, user @GxmingClips defended Khan and stated that people were quick to jump to conclusions.
