Errol Spence Jr. will return to the boxing ring this weekend inside AT&T in Texas to defend the WBC and IBF welterweight championship. Errol Spence Jr. vs Danny Garcia has all the ingredients for an exciting fight.

Spence Jr. will make his first appearance inside the squared circle after the horrific accident that took place back in November 2019. Despite undergoing a tough recovery process, he is confident ahead of his defense.

He said, “Everybody has been saying, is he gonna be shitting himself. Is he gonna be the same fighter? And I am a realist, I am a real person. I feel like people should be saying it because if I had seen the car accident, from outside looking in, I’d say the same thing.”

Just a month after an emphatic win over Shawn Porter, Spence Jr. was involved in a single motor vehicle accident. He suffered multiple injuries. However, he was lucky to come out without any fractures. It was a near-death experience for the boxer and many believe that it could have a significant impact on his next bout.

‘The Truth’ continued, “So for me, I just want to put in a great performance, great show, and show people, ‘Man! he is still beating guys up, punishing them.’ For me, I am just tryna put a beating on Danny Garcia. Make it the worst beating that he ever had in his boxing career.”
