Ahead of Tim Tszyu vs. Sebastian Fundora on March 30th with the WBC and WBO Super-Welterweight titles on the line, Errol Spence Jr. took to x and expressed that he wanted to fight the winner of Tszyu vs. Fundora. Meanwhile, Tim Tszyu had also called out Spence Jr., saying that he wanted to fight ‘The Truth’ for a long time.
However, after Fundora defeated Tszyu via a split decision in the T-Mobile Arena, attendee Spence Jr. changed his aim to call out ‘The Towering Inferno’. Similarly, Fundora, who considers Spence Jr. “one of the greats” in the sport, hoped that winning against ‘The Truth’ would be a “good history” for him.
At this, just when Spence Jr. hoped to lay his hands on the Super-Welterweight titles, the WBO pointed out that Terence Crawford was Sebastian Fundora’s mandatory. Likewise, the organization ordered Fundora to fight Terence Crawford, who is moving up to 154 lbs, within the next 180 days.

On the other hand, Sebastian Fundora’s manager Sampson Lewkowicz recently informed that Team Fundora decided to prioritize a rematch against Tszyu before facing Crawford or Spence Jr. Taking to X, talkSPORT correspondent, Michael Benson wrote, “Sebastian Fundora’s promoter Sampson Lewkowicz has declared that their first priority is to rematch Tim Tszyu next, ahead of a fight vs Terence Crawford or Errol Spence.”
However, Tim Tszyu has reportedly desired to face Errol Spence Jr. before anybody else in the sport. On that note, in his latest interview with AKHi TV, Mayweather Promotions CEO, Leonard Ellerbe hoped Spence Jr. vs. Tszyu could happen. “I just saw that tweet yesterday from Errol. The difference between Errol and everybody else is Errol gets what he wants. Errol’s family. It’s like Errol says he wants that fight, if that’s what he wants, I’m sure Al [Haymon] gon’ make it happen,” he said.

However, he has victories over the likes of Yordenis Ugas, Danny Garcia, and Shawn Porter. In addition, he stands 5′ 9½″ tall.
