In a press conference ahead of Whyte’s upcoming comeback, his coach made a very bizarre admission. He has a unique way of training his fighter that did not involve a game plan.
Where in the boxing world every trainer keeps a close look at his fighter, McGirt did not care at all what his fighter is doing. According to him, he did not prepare his fighter as per the opponent. Instead, he prepares his fighter for anything. No matter what the other guy does, he has to answer for that.
McGirt’s attitude toward training fighters did not sit well with Spence Jr. He took to Twitter and slammed him. He wrote, “Goofy that s**t ain’t funny.”
Michael Benson of talk sports shared McGirt’s clip on Twitter. He wrote, “Dillian Whyte’s new trainer Buddy McGirt admits he’s never watched him fight ahead of their first bout together on Saturday night…”

Let’s see how Whyte delivers McGirt’s lessons in the ring. How effective McGirt’s revolutionary training classes prove against unbeaten American Jermaine Franklin?
The duo is set to square off on November 26 at Wembley Arena in London. This will be ‘Body Snatcher’s’ first fight since he lost in a title challenge against WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury. After losing in April by a brutal uppercut knockout, Whyte switched his trainer and showed trust in McGirt.
What’s next for Errol Spence Jr?
As of now, Spence Jr’s fight is not scheduled. However, his potential opponent could be Terence Crawford, Keith Thurman, and Jessie Vargas. The Boxing world is eagerly waiting to see Spence Jr. going against Crawford. The duo is undefeated and holds the top position in the pound-for-pound list.
