Errol Spence Jr. hints at a new development

Recently, SHOWTIME Sports posted their “ALL ACCESS: Errol Spence vs. Crawford” on YouTube. The first episode of the interview featured both fighters sharing a glimpse into their lives and interests as the day of the fight approaches. Moreover, in one segment of the video, ‘The Truth’ went to visit his favorite NFL team-Dallas Cowboys. The unified champion has always been pretty vocal about his love for the team. He had previously even shared his desire to play for the team. Not only that, Cowboys’ general manager Jerry Jones had previously hinted at the possibility of letting him play for the team.

Spence Jr. visited the team and stated that he believes the Cowboys will be there for his bout. He boldly stated that he will achieve a victory for them, while they will do the same for him and win the Super Bowl. During his conversation with Jones, the manager pointed out that the Southpaw artist has a big fight coming up. To this, the unified champion made a surprising revelation. He stated that he will be moving up the weight category after this bout. He said, “It’s the last bout to get it at the weight class that I’m at, and I can move up, so I’m ready.” It appears that win or lose, this fight will conclude his stay in the Welterweight division.

Tim Bradley shares his thoughts ahead of the bout

Recently, during an interview with FightHype, Tim Bradley pointed out the challenges ahead for ‘Bud’. He stated he believes that the judges will be too starstruck and may not give a fair judgment. He claimed that Crawford will have to strike like a snake and make use of any mistake Spence makes. This might prove to be a tough challenge considering Spence Jr.’s sheer high output.

Addressing this, he stated that the multiple division champion will have to “get off to an early start.” Bradley pointed out that the Texas resident only gets “stronger as the fight goes on.” He claimed that “The dude doesn’t slow down. If you’re expecting him to slow down, he doesn’t slow down”. He compared Spence Jr. with a vehicle as he stated that in the beginning rounds, it seems like Spence warms up his engines. Furthermore, he stated that winning on scorecards will be hard because of the sheer number of punches being thrown. Though he still believes that Crawford will be able to come out on top, because of his “versatility.”
