After the video went live on X, it quickly gathered nearly a million views and significant traction. The post collected a variety of responses. From kind and supportive remarks to questions regarding his physique.

One user boldly asserted besides tasting his new energy drink, ‘GGG’ seems to have indulged in a fair share of fast food, subtly hinting at his less athletic appearance. It’s worth mentioning that Golovkin has not fought in a while, and he turned 41 this year. Moreover, there are rumors of the boxer retiring, which should explain his physique.

Another user confidently claims the Kazak boxer has gone into retirement. However, after Golovkin’s trilogy fight against Canelo, he boldly told TMZ Sports he doesn’t plan to retire.

Someone else emphasized nobody can guess GGG is an elite-level boxer by looking at his current physique. However, it’s worth mentioning that weight cuts are nothing new for fighters. If Golovkin decides to make a comeback it would not take him long to lose the weight.
