The fighter keeps punching his sparring partner continuously until he passes out. But the fighter doesn’t stop at that; even though his sparring partner is passed out, he thrashes his partner with all his strength before the others intervene.
Finally, the fighter stops and his opponent falls on the ring’s canvas.
