Musk took over as CEO of Twitter on October 28, 2022. Moreover, this acquisition was after the platform sued him in Delaware court after not coming to terms with the USD 44 billion deal. Talking about suing Musk, a spokesperson from Twitter said, “Musk’s conduct simply confirms that he wants to escape the binding contract he freely signed, and to damage Twitter in the process.”
Moreover, his entry also saw the removal of many key members of the organization. Musk fired many employees, including CEO Parag Agrawal and policy director Vijaya Gadde.
Meanwhile, Twitter and many other social media sites banned Tate in August 2022. It was said that the controversial beliefs and statements he made during his videos played a major role in the same.
