The heavyweight main event was a sight to behold. However, a few days after the fight, some behind-the-scenes moments have come to light.

Eddy Reynoso’s shocking words to Canelo Alvarez

Alvarez’s trusted coach and trainer had his job cut out for him during the light heavyweight bout. Consequently, in a video posted by Matchroom Boxing on Twitter, fans could get a closer look at what happened before the last round.

Reynoso started the pep talk by asking the fighter how he was feeling. Alvarez replied he was feeling good, but also a little tired. The trainer urged Alvarez to showcase the best version of himself.

Surprisingly Reynoso proceeded to tell Alvarez he can’t stop Bivol. He stated, “It’s the last f****** round!… He’s heavier than you, and you can’t knock him out now.”
