The P4P King Canelo Alvarez has already won and defended his titles at the 168 lbs roster, since debuting against Callum Smith in December. He is now ready to unify the belts against the undefeated WBO champion Billy Joe Saunders on May 8. Hence, the Mexican bigshot has been super active in the past few months and is highly optimistic about defeating ‘Superb’ Saunders in their upcoming collision.
Alvarez’s head trainer, Eddy Reynoso, is currently undergoing an active camp with him. So, the trainer gave some interesting insights and revealed that they have plans to knock out Billy Joe Saunders and end his unbeaten streak.

Four-division world champion Canelo Alvarez is one of the greatest power punchers in the sport. In an active career of 58 fights, he has 55 wins, with 37 coming via knockouts. Meanwhile, his defensive technique is also worth hailing and Alvarez is well known for making his opponents miss out on their best shots. So, Billy Joe Saunders might have to push his limits at the gym, to continue his undefeated run.

30-0 as a pro, WBO champion Billy Joe Saunders has been on a tear in the super middleweight division. The two-division titleholder has defended his 168 lbs strap twice since claiming it in 2019 and currently has 14 knockouts under his belt.

Moreover, he is training alongside the fellow undefeated champion in Tyson Fury. So, ‘Superb’ Saunders can rightfully look into the eyes of Alvarez, but he will still have to work smarter inside the ring to defeat his Mexican adversary.
Boasting a record of 55-1-2, the 30-year-old Alvarez already has a legendary resume. If he remains active, he will seemingly hold one of the greatest records in boxing. As he has more fighting experience than his Brit adversary, Alvarez will be the favorite over Saunders on paper.
