Eddie Hearn has offered some insight into the potential fight between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua. He said there’s no set figure for the fighters; however, the promoter revealed that it’s like Floyd Mayweather money.
The two heavyweight champions will reportedly meet for a massive undisputed fight this year. Despite the significance of the fight, the monetary aspect has been a major talking point.
Speaking to the AK and Barak show, Hearn said, “I think a lot depends on the numbers of fight in terms of the revenue, you know.

“The site fees, the Pay-Per-View numbers, the international TV. But it’s certainly, I think, the biggest fight, most lucrative fight in boxing right now. Unquestionably. That’s Mayweather money. And we haven’t seen Mayweather money since Mayweather.”
This showed just how much revenue a fight like this requires. It also explained why the fight has been so difficult to make.

The promoter did, however, say that this fight will break records. From a fight of this nature, we almost expect it. It is only a matter of how many and which records it ends up shattering. It will be interesting to see if the fight will be as profitable as the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight.
Reports have suggested that both fighters will take home a minimum of $100 million from the fight. However, depending on the location and whether there can be fans, it could go even higher. Either way, this will be a lucrative fight for all involved.
