Why did Eddie Hearn receive a letter from Mayweather Promotions?
Gervonta Davis has been with Floyd Mayweather’s Mayweather Promotions since 2015. This relationship has been fruitful for both parties as Davis went on to become the WBA lightweight champion and sold out huge arenas. However, this relationship is seemingly coming to an end, as Tank isn’t keen on renewing his contract.
The chairman of Matchroom Boxing, Eddie Hearn, does not want to miss out on the opportunity to sign Davis for his promotion house. However, according to Eddie Hearn, Mayweather Promotions have sent Hearn a letter to stop talking about signing Davis.
