The Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury fight may go down as one of the biggest fights of 2021. This high-voltage encounter is almost a done deal, and it’ll take place on August 14 in Saudi Arabia. However, the official announcements for this fight are yet to be made.

Despite it not being official, both the fighters are hungry to get their hands on each other. This holds for Joshua, who’s waited for this fight for a substantial while. Recently, his promoter, Eddie Hearn, who was in a chat with Sky Sports, talked about how ready his fighter is and more.

He said, “I think you’re gonna get a different Anthony Joshua in this build-up. I think he wants to be in that trash talk environment, I think he’s gonna enjoy it… AJ will be going to war with Tyson Fury. He has plans to go in there and absolutely demolish him.” (h/t Michael Benson)

The unified heavyweight champ, Joshua, began his preparations for this fight after a thunderous win over Kubrat Pulev in December 2020. He wants to present his best self for the Fury fight, as this is his biggest opportunity to fight for the undisputed title.
