Just like 2021, the year 2022 seems to be an exciting year for the sport of boxing. There are many high-voltage fights expected to materialize this year, and among those elite bouts, one contest that stands tall is between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano. Both the pugilists were expected to square off last year itself, however, this fight failed to materialize.
But, the possibilities of this fight increased ever since Serrano signed with Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions (MVP). This is because the YouTuber turned boxer has high regard for ‘The Real Deal’. Moreover, he’s extremely excited to book a fight between Serrano and Taylor.
Recently, Katie Taylor’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, was in an interview with DAZN Boxing. Here, he shed some light on Serrano’s success with Jake Paul and more.

“Jake Paul’s a massive reason for that. Amanda’s done her best. She’s had some great performances, she’s boxed on big platforms and you know she’s increased her value, and Jake’s done a great job as well so both girls getting handsomely paid for that fight and they deserve it because it doesn’t get any bigger.” he said.
Serrano and Taylor rank among the finest female boxers of the modern era. That said, a fight between these two for the undisputed lightweight title carries immense hype.
