Gervonta Davis is determined to become the next face of boxing. The three-division world champion is one of the best knockout artists the fans have seen in a while. The Baltimore hard-hitter is taking on one of the most challenging opponents of his career, Ryan Garcia. And, as the days leading up to the fight, the pressure can get intense for the Maryland-born boxer. But it seems like the 28-year-old has found a way to relieve his stress during these strenuous and demanding times. The boxing world has witnessed numerous boxers get various kinds of pets for themselves. And Davis was recently gifted a pet monkey by his older brother.
The former champion received a cute monkey as a gift. And even came up with a cute name for the pet. This gesture by Davis’s brother has left the fans surprised. With less than a week left in Davis’s super fight against Ryan Garcia, Davis’s brother has gifted him a pet monkey to help him through the training camp. ‘Tank’ Davis has named the monkey ‘Bubbles’. The monkey seems to have added a new touch to Davis’s persona.

Elie Seckbach from ESNews took to YouTube to share clips of Davis’s team playing with the monkey. The monkey is reportedly a gift from Davis’s older brother as he was visiting him in his training camp. As reported by Seckbach, Davis, and Bubbles formed instant chemistry with each other. It seems like Davis’s team has grown affectionate towards the little friend over time.
Bubbles has made numerous appearances on the team’s social media handles. And, Seckbach also shared clips of the monkey. But, apart from all of this, Davis is preparing to take on one of the biggest challenges of his life. And he will ensure that he leaves no stone unturned to fight Ryan Garcia. Recently, Davis gave a piece of inside news to the world involving Garcia.
Fans React to Davis’s new pet
User @HiFi5280 believes that Davis is a unique personality considering everything about him. He wrote, “Knockouts, high heels, purses and now a pet monkey. Dude is unique for sure.” @King Bo thinks that Garcia stands no chance in front of ‘Tank.’ And he will be sent to the emergency room. He commented, “Ryan about to be in the emergency room.”

@Clarabell Cutting thinks otherwise about Davis getting a pet. She commented, “He’s to busy for a pet right now.” Meanwhile, @Wee Shirley has become a fan of ‘Bubbles.’ She commented, “He’s adorable!!”
Lastly, user @AWi came up with a joke. They wrote, “Tank: “I’m not a soft guy”, Also Tank: has a pet monkey named bubbles”.
