Recently a Facebook post managed to take the internet by storm, the reasons are justified as well. A shocking news that the renowned boxer Mike Tyson is orchestrating a rather unique event a combination of two things he likes- weed and boxing. According to the reports, Tyson would promote the first-ever Weed Boxing Championship on August 27. Moreover, it appears that the event will take place on the island of Ko Samui in Thailand.

LowKick MMA claimed that the event will have participants engage in three 3-minute rounds at the Samui International Muay Thai Stadium. However, apparently, the athletes will be engaging in the premium kush provided by Tyson himself before going at one another. It is to be noted that Tyson has a successful cannabis business of his own and he spends around $500,000 on Marijuana every year.

Moreover, following Thailand’s actions of decriminalizing the plant back in 2022, this could be a huge opportunity to capitalize on the country’s growing cannabis tourism. However, it is to be noted that Tyson hasn’t confirmed it as of now and it could just as well be rumors. No doubt that a lot of people will look forward to it in case it materializes.
