Undisputed super middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez will make his Hollywood debut in the upcoming boxing feature Creed 3. The movie is a part of the Rocky franchise. However, it has become a franchise in itself after creating a life of its own with a complete trilogy happening already.

Moreover, Alvarez’s role was revealed in the trailer after he was seen with Adonis Creed’s family during a red carpet-event. It was announced that the Mexican boxer was cast to play himself in the movie with an unspecified role back in September. Moreover, many fans felt that as he made it to the trailer, his role would be a good one. However, Alvarez recently revealed that his role might not be as big as the fans expect. In a product launch for his new drink, VMC, Alvarez took questions from various reporters and media.

Alvarez also revealed that he would very much be interested in taking on the man who beat him back in May, Dmitry Bivol. He stated that although he was planning to return in May, he would like to face Bivol following that. “The idea is to return in May with a tuneup fight to see how I feel and then get the rematch against Bivol in September. That’s the only thing I want for my career right now.” He said.

Alvarez has had a rocky year in 2022. He only competed in two bouts this year, losing to Bivol and winning against Gennady Golovkin. However, he might have to face Caleb Plant or David Benavidez next as they compete for the number one contender spot.
