In a recent interview, Francis Ngannou reflected on his journey in boxing, drawing parallels between his previous match against Tyson Fury and the upcoming one with Anthony Joshua. When the interviewer asked him if Wilder was honest about the prospect of an MMA fight, Ngannou stated, “Yes it was real but then Deontay Wilder had a fight first, that step on the way, and then I think I now have a fight.”

The interviewer highlighted the significance of the Joshua fight, noting that it appears to carry more weight for Ngannou than his previous bout. Ngannou responded, indicating a shift in perception, “Yes I felt that and you can even see the odds, even though I’m on the drop it’s not ridiculous as the last time. You know, you can tell that they are giving me- showing me some respect, like okay- ‘don’t count this guy out.'” The sentiment underscores Ngannou’s growing recognition in the boxing community and Ngannou has been giving it his all in order to not disappoint his fans.

Ngannou is cutting no corners in his training

During a joint training session in Paris, Vianello shared on Instagram, “Back on camp with @francisngannou to train for our next fights. Great quality work here in Paris 🇫🇷. Traveling and always building new Comfort Zones.” Ngannou reciprocated the sentiment on his Instagram, noting their fierce spar, stating, “We’re out here working. First-day sparring [Vianello] did not go easy on me.
