Anthony Joshua, the 2x heavyweight world champion, has always followed a strict diet throughout his career. Unlike several heavyweights, the Brit boasts of a perfect physique. Starting from his outlook to physical conditioning, Joshua sees to have topped every aspect of fitness. But a lot has to be credited towards his diet and regime.
That includes Joshua’s love for meat. All athletes have to follow a particular diet, and Joshua has to do the same. But excluding the fight camps, Anthony Joshua loves munching on food and is no way a vegan.
In an interview with the Times, Joshua’s nutritionist revealed that the world champion prefers eating a lot of food. However, he stays away from junk, especially before fights.

Speaking on it, Mark Ellison said, “Even though he can eat a large amount of food it has to be good quality — we can’t fuel him on junk,”

In recent times, several athletes likely Tennis star Novak Djokovic has accepted a vegan diet. Although vegetables are equally important in Joshua’s diet, some sort of meat also finds a place. In interaction with Men’s Health, Anthony Joshua opened up on his love for salmon.
“I’ll go onto… wild rice, some salmon and a lot of veges. I’ll probably eat that again,” said ‘AJ’.
Salmon is rich in protein and has very low fat, So, it’s safe to state that Joshua also picks his choice of meat smartly.

Anthony Joshua loves chicken
In the past, Joshua has taken competed with UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya in a hot sauce. Both the fighters came live via face-time and had chicken wings with hot sauce. Although it appeared to be a friendly challenge, the love for meat was quite evident. But it was the sauce that stole the show.

Be it fish or chicken, ‘AJ’ is fond of eating, and especially meat. But everything falls under his nutritionist’s call. On fight weeks, Joshua doesn’t forego his diet, but he also his occasional cheat days.
He is one of the biggest pioneers of boxing and when it comes to fitness, Joshua holds a similar status.
